Advocating for yourself and loved ones is tough in stressful medical situations. Our speaker, Steve Lorberbaum, will give advice for how to talk to doctors and hospital workers.
Steve Lorberbaum is a former lawyer. He is now a certified senior advisor and owner of Assisting Hands Home Care. He started his home care company in 2014 after he and his wife learned first-hand about the challenges of addressing their parents' needs. Steve has become an expert in needs that accompany seniors' health issues. As a community activist, Steve also serves seniors as a Board member of three organizations: the non-profit Potomac Community Village, the Grass Roots Organization for the Wellbeing of Seniors, and Cupid's Charities.
