Today, Robin, our guide, will meet us at the Old Angler's Inn entrance to the C&O Canal Park AT THE RESTROOMS IN THE PARKING AREA.
We will cross the bridge over the canal together and then can walk either South or North on the towpath for as many miles as we wish. My favorite is the walk toward the tavern (north). We will pass widewater which is a very pretty part of the canal.
No fee required. Bring some water to drink; a walking stick is recommended primarily to get us down to the towpath which of course is flat.
We ask that all attendees be vaccinated and boosted in response to continuing concerns about Covid-19. Thanks.
