American art can tell complex stories about evolving national identities in the United States.
Join us as we look closely at American art from the colonial period to the early 20th century, engaging in conversation and exploring different perspectives with these works from our collection.
We will meet in the PCC's Community Room, meeting with a live docent on Zoom, who will guide us through a variety of art and artists, and answer quesitons in real time.
Please RSVP, preferably by Wed. Feb. 8 at 4 pm, so we know how many chairs we need to set up.
Please note that we ask that all attendees be fully vaccinated, using the CDC definition that you have received the most recent booster for which you are eligible. Also please consider testing prior to attending. Feel free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable.
Admission is free, but we welcome your support with a donation at any level to help us continue to offer free programs to our wider community.
Transportation, if needed, is available for PCV members. If you expect you will need transportation, please let us know as early as possible, so we have time to make arrangements for it.
Members are also invited to get together for lunch afterwards, at Brooklyn's Deli. If you are interested in going out to lunch, please tell us in the Comments section when you RSVP.
