PCV PRESENTS: IN-PERSON PHOTOGRAPHY TALK, with renowned photographer Avner Ofer, co-sponsored with the Potomac Community Center Seniors program 

Avner Ofer, a  renowned Washington, DC-based photographer, will present some of his photographs and talk about his travels.  Avner travels to many remote and off the beaten path locations, and attempts to capture intimate moments, and glimpses into other cultures. Studying the languages, customs, and geography of the places he visits enables him to explore more deeply into that culture, and reveal some of the essence of the place. Using this philosophy allows Avner to photograph any location from exotic Tibet to his back yard in Washington D.C. with the same insight.

All are welcome to attend this in-person program which is free and open to all.  It's part of PCV's on-going visual arts presentations offered in coordination with the Potomac Community Center's Seniors program.
