Canal Community Days: PCV Helps Out

Canal Community Days is the Canal Trust’s annual public volunteer program. Each year, they recruit and manage hundreds of volunteers to undertake a range of preservation, beautification, maintenance, and conservation projects along the 184.5 mile length of the C&O Canal National Historical Park, working closely with the National Park Service to identify priorities that can be completed by volunteers of all ages.

PCV volunteers will be doing some painting as part of the effort to preserve and maintain park buildings, in the area near the Great Falls Tavern.  Supplies will be provided by the Canal Trust, but we suggest you wear clothes that you don't mind getting paint on (the Canal Trust will be providing T-shirts).

We'll be meeting at 9 am, at the Canal Trust booth. Please tell us if you plan to come, so we know to look for you, by emailing us at info@PotomacCommunityVillage.org.

Please also register with the Canal Trust, fill out some forms. tell them the size T-shirt you would like.
