Maintaining Mental Health as You Age

Are you having trouble falling asleep at night because you are thinking about the same thing? Do you not feel like going out anymore? Do you know what help is out there for you?  As people age, many experience life changes that can impact mental health, such as a medical illness, death or illness of a loved one, or a job loss. When feelings of grief, social isolation, and loneliness persist, they can lead to depression and anxiety.

Learn the best ways to maintain your mental health as you age from Dr. Carlos Brown, a social worker at Sibley Hospital.

This program is offered by Friendship Heights Neighbors Network, in patnership with Suburban Hospital, Little Falls Village and Greater Stonegate Village.  To register, click https://www.fhneighbors.org/mentalhealth
