PCV Bike Ride on the Canal, starting at Violette's Lock
PCV bike ride, starting from Violette's Lock. Meet in the parking lot a little bit before 11 am, with your bike ready to go. (To get to the parking lot, turn onto Violette's Lock Road from River Road, and follow the road to the parking lot.)
We'll ride west on the towpath (toward Point of Rocks / Harper's Ferry) for about an hour, and then head back to our starting point. At this point on the towpath, the terrain is relatively flat, smooth and rock-free.

Bring water with you, and your own snacks. Sunscreen and hat is also a good idea, as the sun starts to get strong by the end of April.
