The group is running for the Democratic nomination to replace Democratic U.S. Rep. David Trone, who is running for the Democratic nomination to replace retiring Democratic Sen. Benjamin Cardin.

The Democratic and Republican primary elections are on May 14. The general election is Nov. 5.

Maryland’s 6th District includes all of four counties — Frederick, Washington, Allegany and Garrett — and part of Montgomery County.
