Pain Management and Prevention, with Dr. Hassan Majeed

Dr. Hassan Majeed, psychiatrist and pain-management specialist, will provide expert insights into what older adults should know about managing pain and the relationship between chronic pain and psychological and social suffering that often accompanies it. Dr. Majeed will discuss a holistic approach of mitigating different types of pain disorders.
Dr. Majeed is board certified in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction medicine, and pain medicine, and he recently joined Point Performance Medicine. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at Drexel University, followed by training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and completed his interventional pain fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Hospital.
