In honor of Earth day, we will be participating in the Canal Community Days Event at Great Falls.

 

Our group is tasked with removal of the garlic mustard plant, an invasive species, along the Gold Mine Trail.  We'll be joined by several Maryland Master Naturalists who are plant experts who'll give us guidance and will help in the removal process.

 

Please read all the  details here, and sign up to participate, checking the invasive special box.  We'll have PCV T-shirts for you to wear, or you can opt to get a Community Days t-shirt.   We'll be meeting near the Great Falls Tavern at 9 am. 

 

Please bring work gloves with you, wear a hat if it's sunny out.
