The goals of this pilot program are to provide an opportunity for high school students and older adults to learn from each other, and to work together on a common project.  By getting to know each other over several months, both generations have the potential to develop meaningful relationships and to gain valuable insights about each other and our rapidly changing world.

PCV members and Bullis high school students will partner during the winter trimester (an 8-week period in January - February) for a weekly intergenerational service learning program.  Together, students and PCV members will develop and complete a joint project on a topic of their choosing that is tailored to their shared interests and experiences.  Initial meeting sessions will allow all participants to get to know one another and to design the objectives of the broader partnership.  Students and PCV members will then form small groups for collaboration on specific projects for the second half of the trimester.  

The collaboration will culminate in a sharing of projects on the final meeting date, February 24, 2026.  Please note that we are not accepting any additional PCV participants for this program.
