About the speaker: Dr. Anna-Katharina Bauer is an auditory cognitive neuroscientist. Her research focuses on how we process sounds, with particular attention to age-related hearing loss and its connection to cognition. Dr. Bauer earned her Ph.D. in Germany and after her postdoctoral position at the University of Oxford became a lecturer in psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is passionate about making hearing health more accessible and helping people understand real-world listening challenges.
