SPRING BIRDS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Local resident and long-time birder Jim Nelson will tell us about the birds migrating through and returning to our area in the spring, including what to watch and listen for, tips on feeding birds, and ways to attract more than 20 species to our yards.
Jim has been birding in his yard and farther afield for 40 years. He leads bird walks for local organizations, including the Montgomery Bird Club and the Audubon Naturalist Society, and is the compiler of the annual Seneca, MD Christmas Bird Count.
