PCV's Walk for Members, for those who think of themselves as Easy Strollers, and also for those who want to walk a little faster and a little further. We'll be at Hadley's Park, also known as Falls Road Local Park.
All members welcome, but you must be fully vaccinated, meaning at least 14 days past the date of a second vaccination. Walkers must register in advance, no later than Wednesday, June 16, at 7 pm, so we know to expect you.
We’ll meet adjacent to the parking lot at Hadley’s Park Playground, also known as Falls Road Local Park, at 9:30 am, so we'll be walking before the heat of the day.
The entrance to the parking lot is on Falls Road just north of Falls Chapel Way. There is a paved walking path (a ¾ mile loop), benches, lots of trees, ball fields and a covered picnic area (a gazebo), along with the playground. Those who walk faster can do multiple loops. We'll also have the opportunity to sit and talk for a while at the picnic gazebo. If you want, bring a bite to eat, and we'll sit in the shade and chat. PCV will provide bottled water and some snacks.
